The construction of new Residue Conversion Unit is about to start in crude refinery of ORLEN Lietuva. This project which plays huge role for the economy and energy security of the region is also the biggest Polish capital investment in Lithuania.
The only crude oil refinery in the Baltic States will open the construction of new Residue Conversion Unit with Groundbreaking Ceremony during which the site will be sanctified and time capsule with message for future generations will be buried. As planned, the Minister of Energy of the Republic of Lithuania, the Bishop of Telšiai, officials from the Embassy of the Republic of Poland and executives from Petrofac Limited, which is the general contractor of this project, will participate in the event.
Groundbreaking Ceremony will be held on 11 August 2022 4:00 PM at ORLEN Lietuva (Mažeikių str. 71, Juodeikiai Village, Mažeikiai Distr.).
