In two decades, AB ORLEN Lietuva grew
together with Lithuania, especially with the Mažeikiai region. The company
invested not only in production, technology, and people, but also made a
meaningful contribution to the welfare of local communities.
Over these 20 years, ORLEN Lietuva AB ORLEN
Lietuva has contributed over EUR 4.5 million to support initiatives in the city
and district of Mažeikiai. More than EUR 1.5 million was dedicated to culture,
a similar amount to sports, and the remaining financial support was dedicated
to educational institutions, nurturing of heritage, social initiatives and
other important projects.
Over this period, partnerships were
established with more than 70 social partners, and numerous long-term
initiatives and projects were implemented. The financial support turned into
real change: renovated spaces, new opportunities for children and young people,
cultural events, sports initiatives, preserved heritage and stronger
communities.
20 years of collaboration, initiatives and
partnerships have created thousands of stories that remind us that the greatest
value is achieved when people share and create together.
