​PKN ORLEN says, that the financial results of ORLEN Lietuva remains under great pressure of macroeconomics as well as very poor local logistics conditions. Recently, the company conducted intensive talks with representatives of the Lithuanian authorities on potential solutions that could improve the situation of Maźeikiai refinery. Not surprisingly the topic is widely discussed by the Lithuanian media. Unfortunately, among many speculations, there are also untrue information about the future of the refinery. Therefore we declare that there are no ongoing negotiations regarding the sale of Lithuanian assets. Nevertheless  the internal analysis of the various strategic scenarios for the refinery in Mazeikiai are being conducted.
