Lithuanian weekly newspaper Veidas announced a list of the best valued Lithuanian companies in its latest edition. On the top of the list there are the largest energy companies of Lithuania: AB Mažeikių Nafta and AB Vakarų Skirstomieji Tinklai (VST). The first one is not listed in the Exchange while the other one is.
“It is not complicated to make a list of the best valued companies listed in the Exchange because these companies are open and all the financial indicators are accessible. It is more complicated to do the rating of the companies (based on their value) not listed in Exchange. Four finance experts agreed to calculate approximate value of 30 Lithuanian companies: Karolis Rûkas, Head of Finance Department of Finance Broker Orion Securities, Daiva Rakauskaitë, Manager of Strata, Viktorija Trimbel, General Director of Prime Investment, Aidas Galubickas, Manager of Evli Securities, – wrote Veidas.
Evaluation results showed that AB Mažeikių Nafta would be the best valued company if is it decided to be included into the list of Exchange in the short run. According to the experts the value of this company amounts to 7,705 billion. LTL. AB Mažeikių Nafta overtakes VST more than twice which is at the top of the list of Exchange the value of which is 2,883 billion LTL according to the current rate of shares.
The second company in the list of the best valued companies is VP Grupë which is valued in the amount of 5,733 billion LTL by the experts.
