Today AB Mažeikių Nafta and the Lithuanian Basketball Federation (LBF) have signed a cooperation agreement under which the Oil Refining Company has become the general sponsor of the Federation.

The LBF will use the sponsors’ money for the needs of men, women, and youth’s national teams.

AB Mažeikių Nafta has sponsored basketball for many years. The Company’s sponsorship to basketball, during the last four years, amounts 13 million litas. The LBF, Lithuanian Basketball League, basketball clubs Kaunas Žalgiris, Vilnius Lietuvos Rytas, Vilnius TEO, and Mažeikiai town club Mažeikiai are among the major receivers. The Company also supports Mažeikiai Sports School.
