Today, October 22, 2009, at about 15 hrs, the employees of Public Company ORLEN Lietuva were performing the inspection of the Company’s section of the pipeline Ilukste – Ventspils and found an illegal tap into the line.

All appropriate institutions have been called out to the incident location. The primary inspection of the incident location showed no signs of damage to the environment. The Police Commissariat of Rokiškis District started a prejudicial investigation.
