MAÞEIKIAI. On Sunday, January 20, 2008, Mazeikiu Nafta refinery recommissioned the Vacuum Distillation Tower. The Company started up the unit immediately after completion of tying-in the rebuilt Vacuum Distillation Tower to the Refinery’s other process units.

The Vacuum Distillation Tower suffered from the fire, which erupted on October 12, 2006. This unit was rebuilt at the end of December 2007.

Having recommissioned the Vacuum Distillation Unit, the Refinery’s throughput capacity will reach the level, which was before the October 2006 fire.
