Public Company ORLEN Lietuva liquidate the subsidiary UAB Remonto Mechanikos Centras.

On 1 December 2009, Public Company ORLEN Lietuva, which is the only incorporator and the sole shareholder of UAB Remonto Mechanikos Centras, notified the Register of Legal Entities of the started liquidation process.

UAB Remonto Mechanikos Centras (registered office address: Juodeikiai, LT-, 89467 Mazeikiai district, Republic of Lithuania) was registered with the Register of Legal Entities on 2 March 2009.

UAB Remonto Mechanikos Centras was established for the purpose of implementation of the Company’s reorganization strategy which provides spin-off of the Company’s non-core activities, i.e. other than production of petroleum products.

The main business activity of UAB Remonto Mechanikos Centras had to be equipment installation, maintenance, repair and other similar services. However, no activities have been commenced by the subsidiary since the registration. Upon repeated consideration of the economic efficiency of the above services, Public Company ORLEN Lietuva made the decision to purchase the respective services from outside contractors.
