On 28 June 2021, failure of heater KR-102 resulted in emergency shutdown of KT Complex of Operations Subdivision No 2 in Crude Oil Refinery of Public Company ORLEN Lietuva. Situation was promptly controled, none of employees was injured. ORLEN Lietuva has sufficient production stocks, therefore this incident will not affect supply of products to clients. Incident has been reported to Director of Mažeikiai District Municipality Administration.
