In 2017, ORLEN Lietuva achieved:

  • 244 MM USD net profit;
  • 290 MM USD EBITDA LIFO;
  • 96.3 per cent Refinery capacity utilization.

The net profit of ORLEN Lietuva in 2017 amounted to 244 million USD which, in comparison to the 2016 result, is higher by six million USD and higher by seven million USD then in 2015. It is therefore for the third time in a row the best demonstrated result since 2006 when the Company was acquired by the Polish Oil Concern PKN ORLEN.

Last year, the Mazeikiai based refinery was operating on the level of 96,3% capacity utilization and processed more than 10 MM tons of crude oil.

“After three record-setting years we feel strongly challenged for 2018. However we need to be aware that the upcoming months might bring changes in the macroeconomic environment. Our long-term goal is to remain profitable and be able to flexibly adjust to market conditions.” – said Michał Rudnicki, General Director of ORLEN Lietuva.

The company undergoes continues investments and a new tank in Butinge will be operative in the first quarter of this year. On the other hand, some major maintenance works in the refinery are scheduled for 2018 , however in a smaller range comparing to 2017.
