​Public Company ORLEN Lietuva has officially become the general sponsor of the Regional Basketball League (RKL) being the largest basketball organization in Lithuania with the biggest number of teams and the widest geographical coverage. 

'There is a certain symbolism in the fact that activities of the two largest players in business and basketball combine their activities', told President of the League Aleksas Makulavičius. 'ORLEN Lietuva is the largest business entity of Lithuania; consequently, the fact that it has joined the Regional Basketball League adds the value to the efforts we have made. We are so grateful that such a strong sponsor has expressed its faith in our organization'.

The Regional Basketball League has also introduced the new logo of the organization.
