Representatives of ORLEN Lietuva and Naftininkų Trade Union have signed a new Collective agreement, which was previously approved by the Company's Board of Directors and Conference of Employees.

Representatives of both sides succeeded to make mutual efforts for the future of the Refinery. According to the assessment of current capabilities of the Company, important social benefits for workers have been included in to the new Collective Agreement. This Collective Agreement will be valid until the end of 2015.

'Throughout the negotiations with our social partners we took into account the requests of employees and kept providing them all information about the financial situation of the Company, as well as the external and internal conditions for its improvement. We are pleased that the employees’ representatives realized that the Company could not afford such extensive benefit package that it had before. For this reason the achieved responsible compromise includes a commitment from both sides to seek to improve the performance and the working conditions', said ORLEN Lietuva’s General Director Ireneusz Fąfara.

The new Collective Agreement has been approved by the specially organized ORLEN Lietuva Conference of Employees, where it was accepted by the majority of them. On the same day ORLEN Lietuva’s Board of Directors accepted the agreement respectively.
